What to Expect When You Visit Grace Hill
Welcome! We are so glad you are visiting Grace Hill. Whether you have grown up in the church or are exploring Christianity for the first time, here is what you can expect on a Sunday morning.
Joyful and Reverent Worship

Our greatest desire is to worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with both joy and reverence. Our services center on the ordinary means by which God meets with His people:
- Singing: We lift our voices together using a rich blend of Psalms, classic hymns, and modern songs to direct our hearts toward God. Congregational singing is the heartbeat of our worship music—when we gather, we come “into his presence with singing” (Psalm 100:2). On any given Sunday, you might sing a time-honored hymn, a contemporary worship song, or Scripture set to music. We draw from an intentionally diverse collection of songs that upholds our commitment to Scripture and beautifully reflects the four-fold story of the Gospel: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. Over time, these songs become familiar and serve as the soundtrack for our shared spiritual growth. Our lead musicians are members of the Grace Hill congregation, spanning generations with varied styles and training—and you’ll often find our Grace Hill Kids leading a portion of worship, too!
Listen to some of our favorites: Grace Hill Spotify Playlist - Preaching: We believe in hearing God’s voice directly from Scripture. We typically preach verse-by-verse through entire books of the Bible, allowing the text to speak deeply into our lives today.
- Confessing: We are a confessional church. To strengthen our faith and affirm our place within a historic, global family of believers, we regularly confess our faith using time-tested creeds and catechisms, such as the Nicene Creed, the Westminster Catechism, and the Heidelberg Catechism.
- The Sacraments: We celebrate Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as the two sacraments—special practices Jesus gave the church as tangible expressions of His grace. We share the Lord’s Supper together on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. During this time, we remain seated while church elders pass the elements along the rows. All baptized, professing believers are welcome to participate. A gluten-free bread option is available.
Please reach out if you have any questions at office@gracehillnc.org.
For Your Family

We love having children participate in worship with us, so please don’t worry about a little extra noise! If you prefer, we also offer a safe, caring nursery during the service for children ages four and under.
Come As You Are
Don’t stress about what to wear! At Grace Hill, you’ll find people dressed in everything from suits and dresses to jeans, shorts, and t-shirts. We care more about your presence than your attire.
Sunday School
Following the worship service, we invite you to stay for Sunday School. It’s a wonderful time to grow in the Word and build relationships. Adults remain in the sanctuary, while children and youth gather with others their age.

Have Questions?
If you have any questions before your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our pastor at aaron@gracehillnc.org. He would love to connect with you and help you feel right at home.
